It's not an easy job to
run a business. It's extremely difficult
to run a long-lived enterprise, especially
a world-class one.
In the year of 2000, at the 10th anniversary
of Jiangshan, we first presented the prospective
goal of building A Centenary Jiangshan.
Someone may argue that it's too early to
mention the centenary company at the present
stage. In fact, to survive or to die does
not necessarily hinge on the size, both
naturally and socially. Even some companies
listed in the world top 500 are actually
suffering the bottom-lined in red, and will
probably be out of the list next year. And
all those who have been lasting for centuries
started from small ones with no exception.
To be a centenary business, Jiangshan must
first become stronger, and then live longer.
This process will never be done at one go.
It depends on the efforts of Jiangshan people
generation by generation. From now on, we
should set up our confidence to build Jiangshan
a centenary enterprise.
What shall be the edges of Jiangshan? First
it is our visionary perspective. With the
mission of caring for the health and future
of mankind, Jiangshan has been constantly
focusing on the improvement of the quality
of people's life, so as to provide health
products more and better. Secondly, we base
our development on company systems. Good
system inspires employee's enthusiasm and
therefore enhances the productivity, which
is the experience for the past ten years,
and the guarantee of a centenary Jiangshan.
The third factor is our commitment to innovation.
An enterprise without the spirit of innovation
will surely be eliminated in the fierce
market competition. We have been making
sustained efforts on technical, institutional
and managerial innovation.
Human beings are marvelous because of their
dreams, History is spectacular because of
their realization. We may accompany with
Jiangshan only for another 10 years, 20
years, or 30 years, but no more. Nevertheless,
we can devote ourselves to the challenges
in the future, as we have been dedicating
to Vitamin C business during the previous
decades, on our way to a centenary Jiangshan.
